The 2. Gathering of the Grail Nation

First of all, we would like to thank you for the numerous registrations and inquiries, even though it was not possible to provide more precise details beforehand.

In keeping with the motto “youth meets wisdom” by which we refer more to the spirit, we would like to look at the joint work in a more childlike (not childish) way.

It naturally addresses those who still or once again feel young in spirit, because what is meant by youth is spiritual liveliness that combines itself with wisdom.

To this end, Simon writes: “Spiritual liveliness and thus youthfulness is not dependent on earthly age, quite the contrary; an 80-year old can have more childlikeness and vigour in him than many an 18-year old”.

This gathering is not primarily about activities that are reserved for earthly youth, thus the customary social separation of being physically old or young, but combining spiritual vitality, in other words, fresh youthfulness and wisdom, into a joint Light-guided upward swing. 

Because the focus should not be on the adult earthly human being, but the development of strength through the spirit in joint working in a high vibration.

As Jesus already said “Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in your midst.”

In this sense, we delegates want to generate a centre of power together with each individual in joy. For more Light power, by which the Earth can also be lifted.

Leave the world of intellect and feelings at home for a few days and allow yourself to be led more from within, so that we can form something new together, for everything should and must become new, thus not to see myself as so important and hold back my own will.

Through the different nationalities, we can also strengthen the connection more and more, so that from initially small connections, great ties arise and thus a strong network is woven thereby, which can extend around the whole Earth for joint working in unity.

Let us all set this goal, then the second gathering of the Grail Nation will be an “inspiring gathering” in the earthly as in the spiritual, where “youth meets wisdom”.

The sequence of events:

The gathering will begin on 2nd October, 2024 at 18:00 hrs with a discussion of the schedule at the Convento da Provença, followed by dinner together at 19:00 hrs in the hall of the Hotel Convento da Provença.

The rooms will be available for check in from approximately 14:30 hrs (depending on the hotel or accommodation).

The second gathering of the Grail Nation will come to an end on the 9th, October 2024 at 12:00 hrs.

More information on the exact sequence of events on the individual days will follow. You are also welcome to make suggestions such as singing songs, giving a talk, sightseeing tours and activities of all kinds. You can send these suggestions to the email address n.ehrler@gmx.ch

We would not want to preplan the entire time, but also build in periods of time in which everyone can do what they would like to do. Not everything should be planned or scheduled by the intellect. In between what is “planned”, we would like to allow some things to emerge from our intuition.

Please be mindful that we only have a small number of staff here in Portugal, and are therefore dependent on the contribution of all the participants.

Hotel accommodation prices:

• • Price per night in an 8-person tent on the grounds of the Convento da Provenca per person € 50 = € 350.00 (please bring your own sleeping bag and mat)

• • Price per night in a 3-bed / 4-bed room per person € 78.00 (e.g. suites in the Convento) = € 546.00

• • Price per night in a double room / 2 bed room per person 90 € = 630 €

The prices include TAX, full board: breakfast, lunch, dinner without drinks.

• • Price per night in a single room in other hotels per person (on request – limited availability and not possible in the Hotel Convento da Provença)

Not all participants can be accommodated in the Convento da Provença, as rooms are limited. Therefore, one or the other may have to stay in a neighbouring hotel. Information will follow. However, if you stay overnight in another hotel, you are welcome to book lunch and dinner for 25 euros per day. This would then be 165.00 euros (10 euros less, as lunch cannot be served on the day of arrival).

We will be happy to help you find another hotel if the Convento da Provença is fully booked.

A deposit of 25 % and a delegation fee of 100 euros are mandatory upon registration; the remaining amount must be paid by July 10th, 2024 at the latest, as we have to make payments in advance.

Excursions, extra trips are not included in the prices.

Arrival by aeroplane

via Lisbon or Porto.

Trips to Portalegre are possible from Lisbon and Porto by bus for approximately 15€ per person.
Dates and prices can be requested online approximately 2 weeks before the travel date. (e.g. website: busbud.com)
From Portalegre to the hotel,  by cab or hotel pick-up,  approximately 15 €/ride

It is recommended to come with a rental car from the airport. If you book early, the price is around 10 € per day (this would also be better for later excursions).

If you are going to be renting a car, it would be nice if you could let us know so that we can carpool, which could ultimately benefit everyone.

We recommend booking your journey (flights) as early as possible, as the earlier you book, the cheaper it would be.
